1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which we provide services to our customers. By booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide heating, plumbing, boiler servicing, repairs, installations, and related domestic gas services. All work is carried out by a qualified engineer in accordance with UK safety regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel work if it is unsafe, outside our qualifications, or not within scope.

3. Quotes and Estimates

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Estimates are based on the information provided at the time.
  • If additional work is required once the job has started, we will inform you and obtain approval before continuing where possible.
  • Unexpected issues (e.g. hidden faults) may affect final pricing.

4. Deposits

  • A deposit may be required to secure bookings, especially for larger jobs or installations.
  • Deposit amounts will be confirmed at the time of booking (typically 10–50% depending on the job).
  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled work date, or if materials have already been ordered specifically for your job.

5. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept bank transfer, card payment, or cash (if applicable).
  • Late payments may incur additional charges or interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may result in a cancellation fee.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
  • Ensure the work area is clear and accessible
  • Inform us of any known hazards or issues
  • Ensure an adult is present during the visit if required

8. Warranty and Workmanship

  • We provide a workmanship warranty of 12 months on applicable work.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to any parts or equipment supplied.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, or external damage.

9. Liability

  • We are not liable for pre-existing faults or issues not directly related to our work.
  • We are not responsible for indirect losses (e.g. loss of heating, water damage caused by existing faults).
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

10. Access and Parking

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable parking or access. Any parking charges incurred may be added to the final invoice.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will aim to resolve any issues promptly.

12. Privacy

We only collect and store customer information necessary to carry out our services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except where required by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
